The holiday season is here and you should visit us for a wine tasting. The whole family can enjoy their time at our cellar.

Planning a big family get together this holiday season? To stock up on lovely drinking wines, visit our cellar or order our wine. Our Michelle Sparkling Wine will be perfect to pop during that happy holiday celebrations. Don’t worry about the South Africa heat! The Chenin Blanc Vino Sacci’s will cool you off in a jiffy. For the times you want to lay low on the alcohol, our grape juice range will be jolly good. Cherish those moments after you enjoyed a family meal with a glass or two of our delicious dessert wines.
If you want to add a touch of class to your gifts, we suggest you buy a few bottles of wine from our flagship Villa Esposto range. If you decide to buy one of our wines as a Christmas gift to give to family or friends, we’ll pack them in a neat gift box. These delicious wines can be enjoyed right away or kept to age for a few years.
Our cellar is conveniently located just off the N7 outside of Klawer. This is not only the perfect location to stop and stretch your legs after a long day of traveling, but you can also enjoy a wine tasting. Don’t worry about the kids! They will have a lot of fun playing on the grass after they have been stuck in the car during your road trip.
We also make sure that you get to experience the region at it’s best with a Rooibos and wine tasting where you get to taste six of our wines, each paired with delicious Rooibos Ltd. products. This marvelous pairing costs only R30 per person. After you’ve indulge your senses with our fine wine and the kids can’t wait to travel on to your holiday destination, choose your favourite wines to take home.
A wine tasting is not the only activity at our cellar. We want avid travellers to remember the time they spent at our cellar. Local is lekker in Klawer and at the Klawer Wine Cellar we stock a lot of local products that will have you tick off many items on your Christmas shopping list. Oom Plaas products made in Carnarvon, and divine olive oil that is produced in Vredendal are some of the most popular products you can buy at our tasting room.
We offer an outstanding service and that is why we decided to only close the cellar for four days this festive season. Now you don’t have to worry about us being closed when you want to come for a wine tasting with your loved ones. We are open during weekdays from 08:00 until 17:00 and on Saturdays from 09:00 to 13:00.

Our Rooibos infused dessert wine will leave you wanting more after the first taste. This dessert wine is perfectly fortified with Muscat tones and infused with the indigenous Rooibos plant and buchu herb. Be amazed by a rich textured mouth feel with each sip of this wine. This proudly South African wine has an aging potential of 5 - 8 years. This means that you can stack more than enough of these wines in your cabinet! This is the perfect wine to enjoy after a big family meal. If you are a visitor to the Matzikama region we would like to invite you to savour a truly homegrown taste with this wine.

We will send you a price list and make the necessary arrangements. This service is available anywhere in South Africa, but certain locations will affect delivery prices.
